Very first post...

I'm using this mostly as a test.  I've never blogged before, and so just want to give it a try.  Honestly, I don't intend to "blog" as the word is typically used.  I would like to, eventually, host an online repository for articles written by and for those of the Old-Line Primitive Baptist faith.

Currently, there are multiple "newspapers" that are still delivered on paper periodically, either monthly or quarterly.  The editors of these papers, fine Godly men though they are, will not always be able to continue in their efforts.  As well, paper-based information-dissemination is a dying breed - online communication is the wave of the present, and future.

So, consider this an experiment...or rather the precursor to an eventual experiment.  For now, I want to learn, and gain experience at, online blogging, article-hosting, etc.  Once that is accomplished, I will attempt to arrange a page for an edition of my favorite publication (the Old Path Contender, edited by Elder Kenneth Clevenger).  Should that go well, and he be happy with the intent and end-result, perhaps the endeavor would be a joint-production, existing as both a paper and an online resource.
